What power supply do I need for an EV charger installation at home?
There are 2 types of supplies we see in properties, single phase or 3 phase, if you have a single phase supply you can only install a 7kW charger, with a 3 phase supply you can have a 22kW charger, we will check this during our quoting process.
How long does the installation process take?
The amount of time an installation takes can vary, but on average our installs take around 2/3 hours from start to completion.
Can I install more than one EV charger at my home?
Yes you can have more than 1 charger at your home, we can setup a load balancing system, this will monitor each charger and how much electricity you are using in your home, and lower the rate of charge when required to protect your incoming supply.
Can I get a smart charger installed in Glasgow?

Do I need to upgrade my electricity meter for an EV charger installation?
Before works commence, we are required to notify your electricity supplier that we are planning to install an EV charger, this allows the supplier to check if your meter and the supply coming in to your house is suitable to carry out the installation, they will either give the go ahead, or let us know that some upgrading works will be required before we can start, any upgrading works will be done at the cost of the supplier.

What should I do if my EV charger stops working?
You should contact us straight away, and we will offer a same day service to inspect the charger and diagnose the fault, if still under warranty we will liase with the manufacturer if any new parts are required and install then at no cost to you.
